SEAKURO

This is the first report of the “Daily Flash Minnow IN JAPAN” project! I will like to talk about some information on a boat ride in Tokyo Bay.
My very first fishing in Japan was at Tokyo Bay! And speaking of Tokyo Bay, it’s got to be Sea Bass! And speaking of Sea Bass, we say SEAKURO!!! SEAKURO is always booked with reservations in Tokyo Bay and we got to go fishing with them for a day. The captain of SEAKURO, Mr. Okamoto is very famous for guiding people to the best fishing points for Sea Bass, weather it is lure fishing and/or fly fishing. He also personally loves Sea Bass fishing!! Captain Okamoto has told us that on a good conditioned day, you can easily catch over 50 of them in one day! And as he got us very excited we started filming and testing our new lure.
Anyone who wants to board and have a full Tokyo Bay Sea Bass fishing experience with SEAKURO, please take a look at their schedules.
Boat Name: SEAKURO
Captain: Okamoto
Fishing Location: Tokyo Bay (East Kanagawa)

Saltwater Trip

Filed under: Optimum Baits — admin @ 4:30 am

This past weekend my dad and I went on our last saltwater trip of the year. We sponsored the Big Game 90 on their fall trip to the Santa Barbara Islands.

Each angler receives a tackle box of AA Worms & Optimum Baits. Because it’s late in the season it’s hard to determine what fish we will target until we get to the fishing grounds. This time with plenty of live squid around we were targeting yellowtail and rockfish.
I was one of the lucky ones and caught a yellowtail on live squid while my dad caught a beautiful Halibut on the AA‘s 7″ EEL in pearl white. I also caught lots of small rockfish on the AA grubs. It was a great way to end the season and hopefully next year will be better.

Ultimate Match Fishing at Pickwick Lake, Al.

Filed under: Bass Fishing — admin @ 4:16 am

I competed fish against Edwin Evers at Pickwick lake last week. This was my first time on this show and I enjoyed every minutes of it. Fishing was tough but, both caught limits and good fish. It was most intense fishing I had a all year. They told me not tell anyone who won until on air. It was unique format competition and involved many more strategy than any regular tournament. This TV show will be on Outdoor channel next year.

Skeet’s Beat – SRI #11 11-15-2010
The soccer season is over, and the Reese girls are winners!
We had our last weekend of soccer for the season, and it was a good one. Lea scored another goal, which is always an exciting thing to be a part of, and Courtney really got into it during her game and played really well.

The Miraculous Victory Cross

Filed under: International Fishing,Salt Water Fishing — admin @ 12:44 am

Continuing with Sea Bass fishing in Tokyo Bay, I really like the Sea Bass here. The reason is that my favorite fishing is Smallmouth Bass fishing at the 5 Great Lakes. And the way Sea Bass is fished at Tokyo Bay and the way Smallmouth Bass if fished at the Great Lakes are very similar to each other. After all, how it both aggressively keeps biting the hard baits is just great. So today will be fishing at this Tokyo Bay and it’s been awhile since I’ve seen a victory cross and I would like to introduce it to everyone. Mr. Takita who is the head office sales rep as well as a concept creator of the ESG series and Sandy from Daily FM of America and now in charge of international business centering in Japan has made miracle collaboration together.

I am on a business trip in Kanto Japan. First I will get some Ramen Noodles to recharge my energy! “Yaguratei”, “Taisho-Ken”, & “Yokohma-Ya” were all so delicious~. By the way, in this picture are Lucky Craft staff members: Mr. Takita – head office sales rep and again Mr. Takita – production manager. If you are wondering, they are brothers. Their uncle is the famous movie director (America Oscar winning movie: “Departures” also known as “Okuribito”), Takita Yojiro.

Dinner

After fishing with Matt, we had dinner at his place. We made sushi with the Tuna Matt had caught that day. The tuna I ate at Mr. Omori’s place was delicious, but the roasted Toro (fatty underbelly of tuna) was also excellent! Next is fishing camp!!
