NEWS: Zao Forent Springs Fishing Park

Filed under: Lucky Craft USA Blog — admin @ 8:00 pm

This weekend I went to Zao Forent Springs Fishing Park located in Miyagi, Japan. The other day the Air Blow was doing so well and caught a lot of fish. Mr. Eiichi Nakamura who praised about this lure kindly showed up also.

Currently, it is all about the Micro Air Blow and Spoon lure developments. The testing is finished and the metal mold is already completed. However we need to thoroughly check if there is any difference between the final sample and the molded sample!!

For now, I’m glad we were able to catch a big one with the Spoon!!

NEWS: Spoon Development Meeting

Today I am in a meeting discussing the new Area Spoon development. And we painted a sample color also. What do you think? Didn’t it turn out nice? It performs outstandingly great in slow or fast swims. The development team were commenting how we can’t imagine it to not sell with such great finish and being a bit too enthusiastic in the meeting. But I wonder who’s going to name this lure??

NEWS: Visiting Brent

I visited Brent’s home the other day to see how he was doing. I was very worried after his recent car accident and I suppose his body is still hurting everywhere from it. However, he seemed to be doing a lot better now. We ate his favorite Sushi together and it was so nice seeing his son Oli also!

DFM: Lake Elsinore!!

Filed under: Bass Fishing,The Daily Flash Minnow — admin @ 5:11 pm October 18, 2012

This time, I went Bass fishing in Lake Elsinore with our regional staff, Brian & Kevin. This is my first time fishing at this location and to explain the general structure of this place – there are fences extending towards the lake from the backyard of a private house. There are rocks scattered everywhere so my fishing technique was to aim for the Bass that are around those rocks.

My very first bite of the day was with the LV-RTO200 Vibration (Chart color) and I casted very close along the fences. I waited for 2 seconds and started retrieving and got the bite! It has been so long since my last Bass fishing so I kind of panicked & accidentally let it go. But I was able to confirm its existence & location so that was a relief. However, after that I wasn’t able to get any more bites so I decided to change my lure to theSpinnerbait Redemption 1/2oz! I then got a bite, but my retrieve was too slow and couldn’t pull out the Bass from the structure area! It swam under the fence and my line broke!! I let another one go… I wasn’t able to catch any this day, but I have to say – Bass fishing is so fun! And if u catch any, it’s even more fun!!

Brian who kindly took me on this fishing trip caught 5 with a vibrating lure, jig & spinnerbait. Just as I thought, he was an expert!

I got to practice more on my casting accuracy!!

NEWS: Spoon

Filed under: Lucky Craft USA Blog,Research and Development — admin @ 5:09 pm

Finally!! Again, finally the Spoon is complete!! This was my very first spoon development!! Surprisingly I know many Trout fishing fans in America & Europe outside the industry, and they would ask, “You guys don’t have it~?” So from this opportunity, I decided to make the spoon!! I was kind of nervous making it since it was my first time. I cannot read the range from the prototype to the completed product so it can be a bit nerve racking.
