I am currently on a lure development camp. I am continuously carving and then it is test after test. First I am working on the Pointer 100XD specifically for Barramundi fishing in Australia. It actually turn out great. I want our US pro staff to use this and win!

The SWBA Tournaments are held in Southern California and Lucky Craft has been a proud sponsor for 3 years now.  And great news!!  Just the other day at the Lucky Craft Cups held in Marina Del Rey, Team Lucky Craft won the tournament! How great is this! Our dream finally came true.

I don’t think there is a fisherman alive that has not dreamed of wading the pristine rivers of Alaska for Salmon. I had always heard of the insane August salmon runs where the Pink, Sockey, Chum and Silver Salmon fight their way in droves, from the ocean to the streams they were born to spawn.

LAKE LANIER – It shouldn’t come as a surprise that an event won by the youngest angler to ever hoist the Forrest Wood Cup would be one that left many veteran anglers scratching their heads, wondering “What happened to my fish?”

Maybe that’s a little bit of an exaggeration, but when the deepwater bite vanishes on Lanier, you can believe anglers by the hordes will be scrambling. As it turned out, the most stable bite was found shallow by anglers keying on largemouth, a surprise not many could have foreseen at the outset of the event.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — And then there were 12 — All-Stars, that is. After nearly 400,000 votes spread among 89 candidates, the final four places in Toyota Trucks All-Star Week are set. Along with the Top 8 anglers in the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year rankings for 2012, the fans have selected Gerald Swindle, Aaron Martens, Michael Iaconelli and Skeet Reese. Coincidentally, they were the Anglers of the Year for 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, respectively.

BASSEAST: Oakley Back on Tour

The Oakley Big Bass Tour fall schedule kicks off in Texas with the Kelly Jordon Big Bass Classic on Lake Conroe, September 22nd and 23rd. Drought conditions earlier in the year kept the tour from visiting Conroe but the lake has recovered well and the fall fishing is starting to heat up. Look for some big fish to cross the scales at Papas on the Lake and don’t be surprised if it takes a double digit bass to win this event.
