California Saltwater FishingI got to say, fishing is great! This time, I went to California’s saltwater fishing paradise. We had actually rented out a charter boat for our main office employee, Mr. Takita & Mr. Date from Fivecore who was visiting from Japan. Unfortunately they were not able to make it… Fishing here in California, from the shore, you can catch Halibuts. From bay boats, you can catch fishes such as Sand Bass and Rockfish. And from charter boats, you can catch Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado (aka: Dolphin Fish) and more. This time, I used our new products: Flash Pointer, Blade Cross and Pointer SR and caught some Barracuda and Calico Bass! We kept catching fishes one after another and it was great!! Well, that doesn’t mean all the lures can catch anything – you still need to adjust your retrieving speed, actions and the length of pausing with a bit of technique for each one of them. Our new Gunfish 135 usually catches a lot, but this time the bird attacks were pretty bad so I wasn’t able to use it quite well. However, I did catch one on my very first cast, so I have to say it came out very well! |
