Filed under: Skeet Reese Blog — admin @ 3:48 pm April 11, 2012

Skiing with Kim and the girls was fun. The girls were on spring break from school, so we rented a house in the snow for a few days and took a little vacation. Well, there really wasn’t much snow up there, our Sierra Mountains are at 50-percent of the snow pack.

There hasn’t been anything really eventful happening this week. I did an appearance for Berkley at Presley’s Outdoors in Peoria, Ill. and I don’t things went exactly as planned. Normally this time of the year, the area is cold and uncomfortable, but things were really different this year.

Yesterday was a great day! It made me think back to the days of pulling my boat to tournaments with an old International Scout II. I had to hold the wheel with both hands when I stopped because the brakes pulled so hard to the right.

NEWS!! New Lure “SV”!

Filed under: Lucky Craft USA Blog,Lures,Research and Development — admin @ 5:14 pm April 3, 2012

I want to talk a little bit about our new lure SV58 & SV68 which is scheduled to be released sometime this year. The “SV” is an abbreviation of “Saltwater Vibration”. Yes, this is in fact specially made vibration lure for Saltwater fishing. The significance of this vibrating lure is that it is created to make – the currently very popular in America – the shimmy fall action and it includes the high-density tungsten for extra sinking capability specifically for saltwater. It will be very effective for man-made areas also. Please look very closely to the stomach and the bottom area. So that the metal parts won’t bend and/or brake after hitting hard concretes, those areas are created in plastic. The Valid, a vibrating lure for Sea Bass is one of the most popular lure even in Japan from its great use of horizontal fishing almost like a minnow. Oppose to that, the SV has a shimmy fall action with very effective usage for vertical fishing. I hope everyone can try out both Valid and the new SV and check out the difference!

NEWS!! New Pointer!

Filed under: Lucky Craft USA Blog,Lures,Research and Development — admin @ 5:04 pm

This is our floating shallow Pointer which is great for Pike & Musky fishing around the Great Lakes of America. It is also very effective for Mediterranean Sea Bass fishing. The key points to this lure are: It has the capability of making long strokes while it swims through an undertow in its correct posture. It also has a body shape made easier for fish eaters that are hard to catch with Crankbaits to bite on. This is scheduled to be released sometime this summer!!
