This past 2 weeks at the “Big Fish” shop, the people who have purchased our Lucky Craft lures there are continuously catching big size Halibuts.
Picture #1 shows a 20 pound Halibut from Oceanside.
Picture #2 shows a 27in Halibut from Seal Beach.
They are both caught with the Flash Minnow 110. It doesn’t say which colors were used, but the FM is definitely a popular lure in this area.
Man~ I want to catch a big size Halibut too!

Lake Guntersville is in season for many big fishes now. Lately, Gerald seems to like our Lucky Craft hat a lot.

I’m now in France from Osaka. I just arrived 2 hours ago, but I’m already in a media meeting. And now that I am here, I have to have some of their cappuccino. It is very delicious.

Our exhibition display in Osaka ended in great success. Our new lures expecially the “Ragwam” was very popular!

I’m currently on my way to Osaka. This is a Sea of Japan specialty – crab sushi!!

Wow!! Our 2 Lucky Craft Pros are on the provisional top spot of the Bassmaster Tour and FLW Tour!!

This is a super heavyweight lure currently under development. It is for Switzerland Lake Trout fishing. It is about 20~25g.
I am still struggling to catch my very first Halibut of this year. So I calculated the best time to go which is right after the grunion runs on low tide early morning.
As it got closer to the correct time zone, I was on the jetty side using the FM110 aiming the surface area. Unfortunately I got no bites so I changed my strategy to aiming the bottom area with the FM120DD! I made dramatic lure actions so that the Halibuts will have more recognition of the lure! And then I finally got my first bite!! I slowly retrieved, but at that time it was extremely low tide and made it even harder for me to capture it. I continued to try pulling… but right then!! The Halibut jumped and escaped in between the rocks. I couldn’t take a picture of my first caught Halibut! I have no proof!! How disappointing…
I would like to show a picture of my first Halibut of this year next time around. I’m so sorry for disappointing all of you! But the FM120DDmight be a good lure for this year!!
