Skeet: A Long Week Ahead
It will be a busy and hectic week this week. It started on Friday last week when I made a quick trip to the Toyota Texas Bass Classic at Lake Conroe to make an appearance for Berkley on their seminar tank. I flew in Friday, was there for my scheduled four hours on Saturday morning and was home by Saturday night.

Well, All Star week is behind us, and I can’t remember the last time I had to work that hard for three bass over two days of fishing. We had heard that Shelbyville was going to be tough, but the word tough was an understatement.

Well, the Elite Series is behind us and I’m up here in Illinois for the 2012 Toyota Trucks All Star Week. Let me start by saying thank you to all of the fans who voted me in to this week. I was really close to making up enough ground in the points to make it myself, but there is something awe inspiring and humbling about having fishing fans vote me in.

Well, the 2012 Bassmaster Elite Series season is behind us and I have to say that I’m actually quite pleased with the way things turned out. For a while there in the middle, I wasn’t sure how it was going to go, but I was able to turn it around.
