Today I am at California Delta with Skeet Reese. A friend of mine advised me to aim for some Stripers. And as you can see, we caught a lot! And of course it was with the Ja-do LV 500 again. Right now I can’t imagine catching more with another lure other than this Ja-do LV 500.

NEWS: Lure Testing

I am currently working on some lure testing with Skeet Reese in North America. We are continuing to create new lures and a very rare fish was caught among one of them – a Salmon! The Ja-do LV500 worked wonders and caught so many. Many American pro anglers are showing great interest in this lure right now.

NEWS: The Last Shallow Pattern of the Fall

Filed under: Bass Fishing,Lucky Craft USA Blog — admin @ 6:41 pm November 14, 2012

It has now gotten deep into the fall season. It’s also becoming so cold I believe winter is just around the corner. Despite the fact, is everybody still fishing? Beanies and neck warmers are a must now.

The other day I had gone shallow pattern fishing which I believe was the very last time this season with our pro staff, Brent Ehrler. The vibrating lure and crankbaits (LV500, RTO 150 & RTO 1.5, LC 1.5DRS) worked wonders! As I thought, the LC 1.5DRS & RTO 1.5 worked great with this pattern – it made it a lot easier to throw in the lure, to make its reaction and to even let it bite. I was a bit surprised with how great the “Ja-do (w/ blade) LV500” performed. It caught so many! Even after the bites calmed down, with this blade action, it continued to catch more! I was stunned.

NEWS: Punching

By the way, last week in the Southern area, I also practiced punching. I usually don’t use worms due to my industry, so I thought here was my chance for some intensive punching training!! Well, I ended up doing about 10 casts and only caught 1 and was pretty satisfied with that. So that was it!!

NEWS: Lipless Crankbait

Filed under: Bass Fishing,Lucky Craft USA Blog — admin @ 4:36 pm

Last week, somewhere in the Southern area, I went fishing for some lipless crankbait training. The lipless crankbait is great to use during the spring and fall season. If you just continuously let the lure swim at the edge of the weeds, and continue to do so until you hit a school of fish, you will catch a bunch! The LV500 jumps quite well, so it is the best to use it after the school of fish settles and moves to a deeper range. If you don’t know where the fishes are, the LV100 is great to use since it won’t get caught on any obstacles. If you do know where the fishes are, the LV RTO 150 is great to use – you can let it jump and retrieve and it even has a swaying action. This training must be held every year!!!
