
Yesterday was a great day! It made me think back to the days of pulling my boat to tournaments with an old International Scout II. I had to hold the wheel with both hands when I stopped because the brakes pulled so hard to the right.

I made few mistake this week and cost me a lot. I’m really disappointment about my fishing. I ended up 59th place. I like this lake so much and I know what this lake can produce. It is so hard to forget and move on. Tough week.

It was tough practice but ended up O.K. this week. I finished 29th place. Good start at the new BASS season. I’m looking forward to next week at Lake Okeechobee back to back Elite series.

Yesterday, I was in San Angelo, Texas to emcee the Suddenlink Open Bass Tournament benefiting San Angelo Hospice. Before the event, I had an opportunity to display my Outdoor Channel truck and boat at the Suddenlink facility while meeting fans who stopped by.

I’ve been hunting near Lewisburg, Kentucky for the past several days with Drop Tine Outfitters trying to get a nice whitetail on camera for the Scent Loks High Places Show. Saw lots of deer, but no bucks big enough to shoot.
